Endowment

A gift to the endowment fund ensures the donation will make a positive impact on the lives of students and families on into the future. The donated gift is invested, rather than spent. The interest of the investment, or endowment, is used annually to support the programs of PLS.

Portland Lutheran School’s endowment is managed by the PLACE Foundation, a separate 501(c)(3) whose express purpose is to manage the endowment funds with as much stewardship as possible.

Gifts to the endowment can be made in memory of a loved one, the Financial Assistance Fund, the Fine Arts Fund or another fund of the donor’s making.
