Admissions
Portland Lutheran School is welcoming applicants from early childhood through high school for the 2010-2011 school year now, and tuition assistance is available.
Families can select from several opportunities to get acquainted with PLS. Prospective students and their families are invited to attend any or all introductions:
- Open Houses: Take a guided tour. Learn about Portland Lutheran. Meet and talk with teachers, and discover what makes PLS unique. Dates for the 2009-2010 school year are:
- High School Night: Wednesday, October 14, 2009 (4-7 PM)
- PreK-12th grade: Wednesday, February 3, 2010 (4-7 PM)
- PreK-12th grade: Wednesday, April 28, 2010 (4-7 PM)
- Individual tours can be scheduled to accommodate a particular family’s needs. Tours can be scheduled during school hours.

PLS candidates also have the option to shadow a current PLS student for an entire day. Additionally, incoming 9th graders complete the high school placement test to help determine appropriate class placement. Please call the admissions office for details.

Tuition Assistance is available for qualified families. PLS uses the Private School Aid Service (PSAS) to determine need. Application forms are available in school offices or at the Private School Aid Service website. The school authorization code for PLS on the PSAS website is 2048.
