Matt Jordan (1996) wins Tour of Anchorage bike race.
October 1 2007
After a successful experience as a student/athlete at Portland Lutheran School and Concordia University, Matt Jordan moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 2002. While there, he took up bike racing as a hobby. He caught on to the sport so quickly that he won the Tour of Anchorage the first time he competed. This summer he won his third straight Tour. When he is not competing on his bicycle, he is a full-time student at Alaska-Pacific University, father to a one-year old, and holds down a job. A recent article written by The Sandy Post highlights his adventures and accomplishments.
